A perfect fruit mix with a little bit of a twist, and surely worth the effort. Muddled Strawberry Pomegranate Tequila is one of my favorite drinks to make when you need some self-TLC or when you have some friends over.
Muddled Strawberry Pomegranate Tequila
Ingredients:
1 Pomegranate
8 strawberries
3 lemons
1 cup ice
2 oz Tanteo Tequila
Simple syrup, to taste
Fresh Mint, optional
Instructions:
The first thing you need to do is cut the pomegranate in half and remove all the seeds, set it aside. Wash the strawberries, then remove the top (grab a straw, push it from the bottom up through the strawberries for easy removal), then cut them into quarters. After that, grab a pitcher, squeeze the juice of 3 lemons with a strainer so the seeds don’t fall in, and put in the pomegranate and strawberries. Add simple syrup and if you like, some mint for extra refreshment. Add some ice, muddle them all together with a wooden spoon and add 2oz of Tanteo Tequila. Let it sit for 5 minutes in the refrigerator to cool down and serve.
You can also add seltzer to the cocktail if it’s too strong.
