This is a perfect roast for a family meal that is absolutely delicious. For those that love truffle, this is the recipe for you; the flavors are out of this world. This is a staple for Friday night dinner and my weekly Shabbat menu. It’s such an easy and simple recipe to prepare and cook which is why it is one of my personal favorites.
Truffle Honey Garlic London Broil
- 3 lbs london broil
- 1 Tsp. olive oil
- ¼ cup honey
- ⅔ cup worcestershire sauce
- ⅓ cup truffle oil
- 8 fresh crushed garlic cloves
- 2-3 Tbsp. montreal or mesquite seasoning
- 1 Tsp. salt
- ¼ Tsp. ground black pepper
Whisk together the honey, worcestershire sauce, truffle oil, garlic cloves, montreal seasoning, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Place the London broil in a large ziploc or a glass pyrex and pour marinade over the meat. Place in the fridge and let meat marinade for at least 4 hours or overnight. Once the meat has marinated, preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Pour 1 tsp olive oil in a nonstick saucepan. Sear london broil on medium- high heat in a saucepan until brown on both sides. Once the meat is browned, place the london broil in a metal tin or glass pyrex and place in the oven. Bake until the meat is 141-142 degrees.
Tip: Use a meat thermometer for perfectly cooked, medium rare meat.
